2. The enemy wants to take you out of your calling and isolate you. He will throw things at you to divert your walk with God and to make you fruitless. Then we end up doing things that displeases God, allowing sin to overcome us. Before you know it, you may backslide and lose your confidence to go to the presence of God. Even if you don’t see the fulfillment of your call immediately, stay focused on what God has called you for.
3. The enemy wants to steal your daily communion with God. When you do not depend on God and walk outside the call of God upon your life, you lose your intimacy with the Lord. The devil comes to shake our faith in the Word and to make us to question the truth of His Word. Today, you must choose to stand on the Word of God by not allowing negativity in your heart. But the choice is yours.
Yes, it is true that many times, things may not go as you have planned. But if the Lord has allowed it to happen, it is for a reason. Take your eyes away from your circumstances. Always seek God for guidance without jumping into conclusions by yourself.
“He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 1:8)
He is still the Lord of the universe and the Lord of your life and will continue to work for you and through you.
Have a blessed Christmas!
